Project- Extreme MP3

I had bought this cabinet about a year ago off ebay for vending superballs or bouncy balls (depends where your from), but never could get it to work just right so........ rip it appart and turn it into a jukebox\guitar amp\frets on fire game\karaoke machine. In the top where the superballs were to go i installed a shuttle fs56 motherboard with nvidia 5200 , maxtor 80 gig drive and using a ctx 15" lcd. I used the same speaker set as i used in my arcade and added a sub woffer/amp inside. I used XP as the os and WinCab for the jukebox software also I have Karafun for the karaoke and we use a xbox 360 guitar controller for the Frets on fire game I covered the entire outside in 3M vinyl which i bought from the
local sign shop with the exception of where the speakers are it was covered in black pleather to give it a padded leather look. More pic to come so stay tuned..

Mameoth Arcade

Mameoth Arcade

:)

M.A.M.E. Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator is the software that started it all, So many people now can have their own video arcade, either with a restored cabinet or a homemade design like this >

With a couple trips to the hardware store,(mostly Lowes) Ebay and A local Arcade repair shop I put this one together. It features a 3 piece design with a slide out keyboard drawer that i created in Microsoft Visio, 33" ICE Arcade monitor, Happ controls, Groovy Game Gear KeyWiz PS2 Interface, Ultimarc Arcade vga card, in a P4 computer with 512 mb ram. Mameoth is also a virtual pinball machine, jukebox, dvd player and of course a computer on the internet.
